This Privacy Policy describes how Quick Bill ("the App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App. Quick Bill is published by FireClouds Software Solutions ("FireClouds"), based in Tamil Nadu, India.

By using Quick Bill, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

Quick Bill collects the following types of information:

1.1 Account Information

Name, email address, and profile photo (when you sign in with Google)
Authentication tokens managed by Firebase Authentication

1.2 Business Data You Enter

Shop details (name, address, phone, GSTIN)
Product inventory (names, prices, stock, barcodes, SKUs)
Customer information (names, phone numbers, purchase history, loyalty points)
Sales records, expenses, staff attendance, and orders

1.3 Device Permissions

Quick Bill requests the following permissions on your device:

Camera — used only for scanning product barcodes and capturing product images. We do not record video or take photos without your explicit action.
Bluetooth — used only to connect to nearby thermal receipt printers. We do not collect Bluetooth device data.
Storage / Media access — used only to save and read product images, PDF receipts, and Excel reports you generate.
Contacts — used optionally to autofill customer details when you choose to import them. We do not upload your contacts.
Internet — used to sync data with Firebase, fetch Google Fonts, and check for app updates.
Notifications — used to alert you about new orders.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and provide access to your shop's data
To store and sync your business records across your devices
To send notifications about new orders
To verify your subscription status
To improve the App's functionality and fix bugs

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Quick Bill uses Google Firebase services, operated by Google LLC, to store your data:

Cloud Firestore (your shop, product, and order data)
Firebase Authentication (your login credentials)
Firebase Storage (product images)
Firebase Remote Config (app configuration)

Some product images may also be uploaded to Cloudinary for image hosting. See: https://cloudinary.com/privacy

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not use your data for advertising
We do not track your location
We do not collect biometric data
We do not access your contacts without your explicit action

5. Children's Privacy

Quick Bill is intended for business owners and staff aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Data Retention

Your business data remains in our Firebase database as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we store about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your data

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption for data in transit, Firebase Security Rules for access control, and signed app bundles for distribution integrity. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all threats.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or via email. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance.
